4. Booking & Scheduling

Bookings are subject to availability.

Customers agree to provide accurate information regarding:

• Pickup Address
• Delivery Address
• Move Date
• Inventory Size
• Building Access
• Parking Availability
• Elevator Reservations (where applicable)

Failure to provide accurate information may affect scheduling and pricing.

5. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for:

• Ensuring all items are packed unless packing services have been purchased.
• Properly labeling boxes where appropriate.
• Securing valuable documents, jewelry, cash, passports, and personal electronics.
• Disconnecting appliances unless otherwise agreed.
• Providing safe and legal access to both pickup and delivery locations.
• Ensuring pets and children are safely supervised during the move.

6. Restricted & Prohibited Items

For safety and legal reasons, Garrison's Moving reserves the right not to transport:

• Hazardous materials
• Explosives
• Flammable liquids
• Firearms or ammunition (unless legally permitted and declared)
• Illegal substances
• Perishable food (unless previously agreed)
• Live plants (where restricted)
• Live animals
• Any item prohibited by applicable law

Customers are responsible for identifying restricted items before the move.

7. Delays

While every effort is made to arrive and complete moves on schedule, delays may occur due to:

• Weather
• Traffic
• Road Closures
• Mechanical Issues
• Building Access Restrictions
• Circumstances Beyond Our Reasonable Control

We will communicate delays as soon as reasonably possible.

8. Cancellation & Rescheduling

Customers should provide as much notice as possible if cancelling or rescheduling a move.

Garrison's Moving reserves the right to apply cancellation or rescheduling fees where reasonable and disclosed at the time of booking.

9. Liability

Garrison's Moving exercises reasonable care when handling customer belongings. However, we are not responsible for:

• Damage resulting from improperly packed customer-packed boxes.
• Pre-existing damage.
• Normal wear and tear.
• Fragile items not disclosed before the move.
• Mechanical or electrical failure of transported items.
• Loss resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Customers should inspect their belongings upon delivery and report any concerns promptly.

10. Insurance

Insurance coverage, if applicable, is subject to the terms of the selected coverage and applicable laws.

Customers are encouraged to inquire about available valuation or insurance options before their move and verify whether their homeowner's or tenant's insurance provides additional coverage.

11. Payment

Payment is due according to the agreed terms.

Accepted payment methods may include:

Failure to make payment may result in additional charges or collection procedures permitted by law.
